15-July-2001: Renaldo is back! The 1998 FFANZ delegate and one of the best known fan figures on either side of the Tasman
will be back in the shaky isles for another charisma-saturated appearance. If you think
that's a bit over the top for a four and a half inch high soft toy, wait until you
experience the full force of his furry personality.
April 2001 - Natcon Bid confirmed. It's official! At Odysseycon, CON With The Wind was confirmed as the New Zealand National
Science Fiction Convention for 2002. Thanks to all who supported us during OdysseyCon - we hope to see you at our
place next year.
April 2001 - Fan Guests
We are very pleased to add local fan personalities to our roster of guests. Yvonne
Harrison and Alan Robson have been involved in the New Zealand convention scene longer than either of them are prepared to

March 2001 - Hotel Confirmed
We can now confirm that the hotel will be the West Plaza. Right in the centre of the city,
it has been a very successful venue for three previous conventions.

We are thrilled to announce that Dan Hennah is going to be our media guest of honour. Dan
